What Is A Leader?
In order to be a leader a person must have followers. And to have followers, an individual must have their confidence. Hence the supreme quality of a leader is unquestionable integrity. Without it, no real success is possible no matter what you try to establish in life. If a person's associate finds them guilty of phoniness, or if they find that they lack forthright integrity, they will fail. Their teachings and actions must connect with each other. The first great need is to have integrity and high purpose.
Before you decide where you want your business to take you, you need to set up a plan. For each goal you outline create a strategy, complete with your key messages and steps that will help you accomplish your goals.
Eight Steps To Becoming a Successful Leader in Your Business:
(1) Work towards achieving your goals daily.
(2) Research, Plan your Action and Budget Your Resources.
(3) A leader sees their assignment as responsibility rather than rank or privilege.
(4) Always visualize strong, capable, self-assured and independent associates in your group.

(7) A good leader is committed to excellence.
(8) Leader creates a daily "to do list and follow it.
These eight personal traits are foundational to a good leader. All you need to do now is work toward achieving your goals and you can become a successful business leader. As your business reaps the benefits from your strategies, remember this famous quotes:
John Quincy Adams, "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."
Isaac Newton, "If I have seen farther than others, it is because I was standing on the shoulder of giants."
Walter Lippman, " The final test of a leader is that he leaves behind him in other men the conviction and the will to carry on."
Imagine making money from home! Does that even interest you? You would have your time and freedom to do what you wanted to do, when you wanted to do it and with whom you wanted to do it with? Well the best way even in the economy today is to start your own home based business. There are a lot out there and you have to find the best one for you. There are some simple steps that may assist you in your journey.
Step 1
Make sure you find a simple system to help you build your business so you don't have to watch it 18-24 hours in a day! You get into business to free up your time not spend more of it! Now in the beginning you may spend a lot of time setting things up but eventually as you get your system going well you can relax to play a little. Keep it simple too, because if your business opportunity involves other people they must find it easy to duplicate what you are doing.
Step 2
Find others who have done the same business or a similar business from their home. People who have succeeded in a home based business love to help others to succeed too! Ask questions and stay close to someone who can help you with any questions you have or any problems you may face. Don't think you know it all. If you have had a traditional business it is different from a home based business so listen and learn very carefully.
Step 3
Work smart and hard...Just by taking these steps you will separate yourself from 97% of the other people out there who start a home based business too! To work smart means to learn from the mistakes you make and in a home based business you will make some mistakes, don't be afraid to make them either because the more you make and learn from them the better you will get. To work hard basically means to turn that TV off, to listen to business tapes or Cd's instead of the radio and to do what you said you were going to do even when you don't feel like doing it! These are just a few tips on starting your own home based business. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
